The Suburb of McDowall
McDowall is a comparatively new suburb located 11 km north of Brisbane city centre bordering on Chermside West, Stafford Heights, Everton Park, The Chermside Hills and Bunyaville State Forest Park.
It is a dormitary suburb in which people live and travel to work elsewhere. A farming area from the latter part of the 19th Century it was developed during the long post World War II house building period.
