Dates: 9 am Saturday 27 May 2017 - tour of the graves of former residents of Aspley in Lutwyche Cemetery (Approx. 2 hours)
9am Saturday 15 July tour of the graves of Kedron People in Lutwyche Cemetery (Approx 2 hours)
Cost: Gold coin donation would be appreciated.
Meet at Kitchener Rd gates at 9 am (2nd gate from Gympie Rd). Please wear comfortable shoes and bring hat and water.

The photo shows the First Burial in Lutwyche Cemetery. Walter Silcock aged 5 years was buried on 5th August 1878 in the grave, bottom right hand corner of the photo.

The latest article: Trees in the Parks of Chermside. This is a collection of the larger trees, with help to identify them from Webster Rd., to Virginia Station.
The photo shows a Blue Gum E. tereticornis which, at 43 m may be the tallest tree in the parks of Chermside. (However there is a couple of others.) 'Big Blue' is located on the west side of Downfall Creek near the footbridge at Reinhold Cr.
